Legendary Workwear Brand Carhartt
Sponsors 2017 SHOT Show Press Room
NEWTOWN, Conn.—The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the firearms industry’s trade association, is pleased to announce that Carhartt has agreed to sponsor the Press Room at the 2017 SHOT Show. Founded in 1898 and headquartered today in Dearborn, Michigan, Carhartt is a premium maker of work, hunting and outdoor recreation clothing and accessories. This is the first year the company has sponsored the SHOT Show Press Room.
“We are thrilled to have Carhartt sponsor the 2017 Press Room at the upcoming SHOT Show,” said Chris Dolnack, NSSF Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. “I can’t think of a member of the outdoor press who isn’t intimately familiar with this great brand, and I think this sponsorship will build an even stronger relationship with them.”
“For more than a century, hardworking people have taken Carhartt into the rugged outdoors in pursuit of their passions like hunting and shooting,” said Tim Humes, Senior Brand Manager of Rugged Outdoors at Carhartt. “As title sponsor of the 2017 SHOT Show Press Room, this partnership puts Carhartt at center stage in front of a national audience of leading outdoor industry and media experts to share our new hunting styles along with the brand’s rich hunting heritage message. We are very excited about this opportunity.”
