TANDEMKROSS Named Platinum Sponsor of Rimfire Challenge Program

NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association for the firearms industry, is pleased to announce that TANDEMKROSS has agreed to renew its sponsorship of the Rimfire Challenge. This year’s support will be as the Platinum level title sponsor. Headquartered in Hooksett, New Hampshire, TANDEMKROSS is a supplier of firearms parts and accessories that are made in the U.S.A. The company sponsored last year’s program at the Bronze level.

“This is a terrific commitment from TANDEMKROSS,” said Tisma Juett, NSSF Manager, First Shots Program. “To upgrade its sponsorship from Bronze to Platinum clearly demonstrates the value it sees in the Rimfire Challenge program and the important part it plays in NSSF’s mission to promote, protect and preserve hunting and the shooting sports.”

“The gift is in the giving,” said Bryan Haaker, Business Development Director at TANDEMKROSS. “While we are definitely a business, the shooting community is much more than dollars and cents to us. We are so proud to be able to give back at this level — it is not only our desire but our responsibility.”

Now in its third year as a program of NSSF, Rimfire Challenge provides a way for novice shooters to experience their first competitions via a family-friendly and highly supportive atmosphere. Matches utilize a two-gun format of .22 LR handguns and rifles, making the Rimfire Challenge an economical sport for new competitors. Focusing on both safety and fun, the competitions are open to all ages and skill levels, with participation by recreational shooters new to competition specifically encouraged. The 2016 Rimfire Challenge World Championship is the culminating event following the program’s year-round, nationwide competitions at the local and regional levels, and will take place Oct. 14-16 at the Cavern Cove Competition Range shooting facility in Woodville, Alabama. Registration will open later this summer.
