Aguila Ammunition Shines as Gold Sponsor of the NSSF Rimfire Challenge Program
NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association for the firearms, ammunition, hunting and shooting sports industry, is pleased to announce that Aguila Ammunition has become a sponsor of the NSSF Rimfire Challenge at the Gold level. Producing high-quality rifle, pistol and shotgun ammunition for more than 50 years, Aguila specializes in manufacturing .22 rimfire ammunition using Eley technology to create products that are extremely reliable and accurate.
The NSSF Rimfire Challenge (originally developed by Ruger and formerly known as the Ruger Rimfire Challenge) focuses on competition with .22-caliber rifles and pistols. Rimfire Challenge matches are open to shooters of all ages and shooting experience levels, with events conducted at ranges nationwide. The match format emphasizes safety, fun and support for newcomers.
“Having Aguila join us as a Gold Sponsor is proof yet again that these Rimfire Challenge Matches are serving their purpose of getting new shooters truly involved in the shooting sports,” said Zach Snow, NSSF Manager, Shooting Promotions. “Aguila’s sponsorship provides an excellent way for these new and enthusiastic shooters to connect on a more personal level with those so involved in providing the guns, ammunition and gear they’re learning to use so well.”
“We are honored to announce our support of the NSSF’s Rimfire Challenge Program,” stated John Domolky, Director of Sales and Marketing for Aguila Ammunition USA. “Manufacturers standing side by side and showing their support is key to allowing our industry to grow. We feel our involvement represents our brand’s commitment to all shooters, from youngest to oldest. Competitive shooting ties directly into our company’s core values, which are quality, performance, accuracy and innovation. This program helps to fulfill the ultimate goal of our industry, which is the growth and development of shooters at every skill level.”
There are still opportunities remaining for additional Rimfire Challenge sponsor support. Please contact Zach Snow at 203-426-1320 ext.224 for information.
