Volquartsen Custom Becomes a Silver Sponsor of the NSSF Rimfire Challenge Program
NEWTOWN, Conn. — Rifle innovator Volquartsen Custom is set to join the National Shooting Sports Foundation as its newest Silver Sponsor of the Rimfire Challenge. A pioneer in the customization of Ruger’s famed 10/22 rifle, Volquartsen today crafts some of the world’s finest rimfire rifles and handguns.
A program of the NSSF®, the trade association for the firearms, ammunition, hunting, and shooting sports industry, the Rimfire Challenge (originally developed by Ruger and formerly known as the Ruger Rimfire Challenge), focuses on competition with .22-caliber rifles and pistols. Rimfire Challenge matches are open to shooters of all ages and shooting experience levels, with events conducted on a host of ranges nationwide. The match format emphasizes safety, fun, and support for newcomers.
“We are very excited to be a part of the NSSF Rimfire Challenge,” said Scott Volquartsen, owner of Volquartsen Custom. “We feel it is one of the best platforms to bring new shooters into the sport. It is a fun, family-oriented event that offers something for every shooter from novice to expert.”
“The NSSF is very pleased to have Volquartsen Custom join us in supporting the Rimfire Challenge at the Silver level,” said Zach Snow, NSSF Manager of Shooting Promotions. “This company has long been tuned into the needs of today’s modern rimfire shooter—be they hunter, serious competitor, or weekend plinker. They’ve truly elevated the rimfire firearm to an art form. Their dedication to these guns and shooters makes them an ideal partner for this exciting competition series.”
There are still opportunities remaining for additional Rimfire Challenge sponsor support. Please contact Zach Snow, NSSF Manager of Shooting Promotions, at 203-426-1320 x224 for more information.
