How long is an approved tax stamp valid if a customer doesn\'t come to pick up the NFA item and what is the process to get the item back in our inventory to be sold again?
When you receive an approved Form 4, you must transfer the firearm as soon as possible because the firearm is no longer registered to you. If the customer will not pick up the firearm, you will need to contact the NFA Division to request that the transfer be voided. We suggest emailing the IPB at [email protected].
