Geissele Automatics Named Lanyard Sponsor
of 2016 Firearms Industry Compliance Conference
NEWTOWN, Conn. — Orchid Advisors, the firearm industry’s trusted compliance and operations experts, and the National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the firearms industry’s trade association, are pleased to announce that Geissele Automatics has agreed to sponsor the 2016 Firearms Industry Compliance Conference at the Lanyard level. A leading manufacturer of premium triggers, rails, tools and accessories, primarily for modern sporting rifles, Geissele Automatics is headquartered in North Wales, Pennsylvania.
“This is the second consecutive year that Geissele Automatics has sponsored the FICC,” said Jon Rydberg, CEO of Orchid Advisors. “Their continued support of this event shows their commitment to the industry, providing quality products and supporting improvements in firearms industry compliance.”
“We’re very pleased to have Geissele Automatics sponsor another event with us,” said Larry Keane, NSSF Senior Vice President and General Counsel. “Following on the heels of its sponsorship of the 2nd Annual NSSF/HAVA Golf Classic this past January before the start of the 2016 SHOT Show®, its sponsorship of the 2016 Firearms Industry Compliance Conference clearly shows that this is a company committed to the industry on all levels.”
“Geissele Automatics is pleased to support the FICC once again,” said Joe Plunkett, the company’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “In the ever-changing political climate, having the ability to attend an event where you can meet and speak with subject matter experts on all things ATF is invaluable.”
Co-hosted by Orchid Advisors and NSSF, the 2016 Firearms Industry Compliance Conference will take place May 2-4 in Atlanta, Georgia. The conference theme is highly focused on the future — where regulations are headed, how new developments in product research and development affect Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs), and what processes and technologies FFLs are using to significantly improve their business. Additionally, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) will provide focused sessions throughout the conference, offering FFLs an opportunity to interact, ask questions and focus on proactive compliance. In addition to three learning tracks to choose from during the conference, attendees can also take part in one of two pre-conference workshops on May 2. One workshop will cover firearms industry technology, while the other will take an in-depth look at federal firearms regulations.
Seating is limited for this conference and it will sell out, so industry members are encouraged to register now. To learn more about the 2016 Firearms Industry Compliance Conference, visit www.ficconference.com. Register and reserve your seat here.
