Firearms Insurance Agent Newest Firearm Industry Compliance Conference Silver Sponsor
NEWTOWN, Conn. — Orchid Advisors, the firearm industry’s trusted compliance and operations experts, and the National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the firearms industry’s trade association, are pleased to announce that Firearms Insurance Agent (FIA) has agreed to sponsor the 2016 Firearms Industry Compliance Conference at the Silver level. Based in Grain Valley, Missouri, the company specializes in product liability, workers compensation and a variety of general coverage products written specifically to address the needs of those in the firearms industry. The company works with firearms, powder, ammunition and accessory manufacturers, retailers, importers/exporters, distributors, ranges and gunsmiths.
The responsibilities of an FFL owner span far beyond sales. Risk management and administration are key elements of long-term success,” said Jon Rydberg, CEO of Orchid Advisors. “To that end, we are delighted that FIA can meet with our conference attendees and discuss matters pertaining to insurance.”
“The importance of being able to find insurance that fits the highly specialized needs of our industry members cannot be overstated,” said Larry Keane, NSSF Senior Vice President and General Counsel. “FIA’s participation in this conference provides a necessary and much-appreciated link to those services.”
“We are thankful for this opportunity to sponsor the 2016 Firearms Industry Compliance Conference and support Orchid Advisors and the NSSF,” said FIA’s Chris Schwartz. “We are looking forward to helping all of the attendees with their insurance questions and needs. Protecting everybody’s businesses from potential losses is our goal.”
Co-hosted by Orchid Advisors and NSSF, the 2016 Firearms Industry Compliance Conference will take place May 2-4 in Atlanta, Georgia. The conference theme is highly focused on the future — where regulations are headed, how new developments in product research and development affect Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs), and what processes and technologies FFLs are using to significantly improve their business. Additionally, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) will provide focused sessions throughout the conference, offering FFLs an opportunity to interact, ask questions and focus on proactive compliance. In addition to three learning tracks to choose from during the conference, attendees can also take part in one of two pre-conference workshops on May 2. One workshop will cover firearms industry technology, while the other will take an in-depth look at federal firearms regulations.
Seating is limited for this conference and it will sell out, so industry members are encouraged to register now. To learn more about the 2016 Firearms Industry Compliance Conference, visit www.ficconference.com. Register and reserve your seat here.
