NSSF Passes SCTP Torch to
Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation
 The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) is passing the torch of its popular Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) to the newly formed Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF). Longtime youth shooting sports coach Dr. Bill Christy is heading up the new foundation. The new foundation will be responsible for all aspects of SCTP, including participant registration, coaches, state coordinators, state and national championships, promotion, communications, Web sites, public relations and growth strategies. Transition of the program to SSSF will be accomplished over the next several months. SSSF will become the official administrator of SCTP on Jan. 1, 2009. Read More | Play Video

2008 JODC Selections Announced
Selections to the 2008 Junior Olympic Development Camp have been announced. The camp, to be held at the Olympic Training Facility in Colorado Springs, will run Oct. 5-12 for coaches and Oct. 8-12 for athletes.

Former SCTP Shooter Wins Olympic Bronze
 Former SCTP shooters Vincent Hancock and Corey Cogdell put in very strong performances at the 2008 Olympics. Hancock won gold in skeet, while Cogdell won bronze in women's trap.
