1961 Article from Guns & Ammo

In November 1961, Guns & Ammo magazine carried an account of the formation of the National Shooting Sports Foundation, which occurred at the Second National Conference on the Shooting Sports on May 25 of that year. The article, written by Roger Barlow and reprinted here with permission from Guns & Ammo, provides a fascinating view of the challenges hunters, shooters and the firearms and ammunition industry faced at that time.
