NSSF is thrilled to announce a new introductory course on suppressors designed specifically for shooting ranges looking to enhance their offerings.
Through these experiences, hosts will cover the fascinating history of suppressors, clarify their benefits, dispel common myths and guide participants through the legal process of obtaining one. Following the classroom time, participants will head to the range for a hands-on experience and or a live demonstration.
This is a fantastic opportunity for shooting ranges to attract new customers and provide valuable education on suppressors. With the growing interest in suppressor ownership and the removal of the $200 tax stamp effective January 1, 2026, the time is now to become a host and start offering these experiences to your community!
What Hosts Will Provide:
- Qualified instructors (well-versed on suppressors)
- Range access
- Equipment including firearms, suppressors and ammunition (for range demonstration component)
- Eager participants!
What NSSF Will Provide Hosts:
- Ammunition support package (for the hands-on and or range demonstration components)
- Monetary incentive support: $15 per participant (paid quarterly)
- Digital Resource Center Support: Presentation deck, email templates, promotional flyer templates and more.
