Degan also does extensive work in renewable energy, representing wind, solar and biomass energy developers and ethanol producers in transactional, regulatory, litigation and policy matters.

William Provencher

William (Bill) Provencher has been a principal at Carey’s Small Arms Range Ventilation since early 1992. Carey’s systems provide customized air handling using top grade filters and other components to expel airborne ballistic contaminants and evacuate smoke downrange. The company has designed and built hundreds of range ventilation systems, each of which is tested and guaranteed to meet OSHA, NIOSH and EPA requirements.

Jason Smith

A Veteran of the US Navy, Jason has been working as an environment and health consultant for government and commercial clients since 2002, with much of his work since 2011 supporting the shooting range industry. Range clients include the US Air Force, US Navy, US Customs and Border Patrol and dozens of municipal and state law enforcements, public and club ranges throughout the United States and Canada. As a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Jason leverages a multidisciplinary approach to working with range owners and operators to protect employees and customers from exposures to lead, noise and other workplace hazards.
