Does a CCW Permit need to be verified on the State sight to make sure that its still valid and not suspended?
If you are in a State where you have access to the State website and can verify whether the permit is valid, I would highly recommend that you do so. That is a nice tool to have as an FFL. Most States do not have that capability and have to accept the permit as valid if it is not more than five years from the date of the transfer and is not expired. That is why we recommend you make a policy to always run a background check.
