Project ChildSafe Foundation Thanks Sweepstakes Prize Donors at SHOT Show®
LAS VEGAS- The Project ChildSafe Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) charity that helps support the firearm safety education efforts of the National Shooting Sports Foundation® and its Project ChildSafe® program, today thanked industry companies who generously donated prizes to the Project ChildSafe Sweepstakes during the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade ShowSM (SHOT Show®).
In addition to expressing his appreciation to the companies for their support, Project ChildSafe Foundation Chairman Steve Sanetti also announced the winners of the 10 Project ChildSafe Sweepstakes prizes on the set of SHOT Show TV assisted by company representatives.
The Grand Prize in the sweepstakes was a Yamaha Kodiak 700, a utility ATV that is ideal for hunting and other all-terrain use and combines comfort and reliability. The Kodiak 700 is valued at $7,000.
Other top prizes were:
A Browning SR26 Gun Safe, which offers the combination of protection and security and is valued at a $2,399.
A Benelli Montefeltro shotgun featuring a synthetic-stock with a slim, graceful design combined with an anodized lightweight receiver and Inertia Driven system. The Benelli Montefeltro is valued at $1,139.
Yeti‘s Tundra 45 Cooler, a $349 value that is infused with Yeti toughness and features a 26-can capacity and is easily portable.
A Crimson Trace gift certificate valued at up to $400 that can be used for one of the company’s innovative laser sighting devices for handguns and long rifles.
Additional prizes were donated by the National Shooting Sports Foundation to the sweepstakes, including a Winchester Model 94 engraved rifle; a Kimber 1911 Heritage Model Pistol and three gift cards from Cabela’s, rounding out the exciting 10 prizes offered.
The Project ChildSafe firearm safety program provides a genuine solution to making communities safer and has helped raise awareness about the safe and responsible ownership of firearms through the distribution of more than 37 million firearm safety kits that include a gun lock and education brochure.
