Conservation Leaders for Tomorrow/Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation Are Newest Executive Management Seminar Sponsor

Conservation Leaders for Tomorrow - Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation - Executive Management SeminarNEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the firearms industry trade association, is pleased to announce that Conservation Leaders for Tomorrow and the Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation have joined the growing list of sponsors for the 2018 Executive Management Seminar. Designed as the premier educational forum for rising managerial and executive-level professionals, this 2018 SHOT Show seminar will take place the day before the show opens, Monday, Jan. 22.

Conservation Leaders for Tomorrow (CLfT) is a professional development program created specifically for leaders within the natural resources sciences. Its five-day workshops focus on hunting awareness and understanding the roll that hunting and the shooting sports play in wildlife conservation. The Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation, located in Dundee, Illinois, was founded more than 50 years ago with a primary mission to secure the future of hunting, fishing and land management through programs of science, education, demonstration and communication. CLfT was founded in 2004 and is a prominent national education program of the McGraw Foundation.

“These two organizations together serve as the lynchpin connecting many of our industry’s resources with today’s sportsmen and -women,” said Jim Curcuruto, NSSF Director, Research and Market Development. “Sharing that ability to foster strong connections between outdoor professionals and consumers is something from which everyone at this year’s seminar can benefit.”

During the 2018 SHOT Show Executive Management Seminar, attendees will hear from top experts such as Steven Rinella, Lt. Col. Allen West, Dr. Tim Irwin, Dr. Jason Selk and Marsha Petrie Sue, who will discuss the hottest management techniques and business practices taking place today. Attendees will learn about trending topics, such as how to thrive in a changing market, cultivating leadership skills, workforce development, avoiding derailment and improving mental toughness, all aimed at improving skill sets and providing ways to hone business action plans.

Both NSSF Members and non-members are invited to add the Executive Management Seminar or SHOT Show University to the list of events they wish to attend once they’ve successfully registered to attend SHOT Show. See the full Executive Management Seminar agenda and speaker lineup here.
