NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the firearm industry trade association, is pleased to announce that it has awarded Range 129 its highest Five-Star rating for range excellence.

Located in Absecon, New Jersey, on the coast in the southern portion of the state in Atlantic County and a short drive from the busy hubs of Atlantic City, Ocean City, Sea Isle City and Cape May, Range 129 is both a gathering spot for area residents and a hotspot for tourists looking for excitement beyond the gambling tables and beaches. With such a diverse customer base, the facility keeps a hard focus on training.

“We were very impressed with the both the training curriculum and the devotion of the staff members to educating their customers while keeping the entertainment value high,” said Zach Snow, NSSF Director, Retail & Range Business Development. “This speaks not only to how well a business like this can be run in a state as firearm-ownership-challenged as New Jersey, it underscores the fact that the commitment to clients and the safe, responsible, enjoyable use of guns is a personal one for every employee. That translates to genuine customer engagement.”

Range 129 boasts a number of admirable features. A generous 20 pistol lanes divided across two bays extend to 25 yards and an advanced target setting/retrieval system that operates via touchscreen control. State-of-the-art ventilation systems complement both in keeping patrons’ healthy and comfortable. A team of talented gunsmiths and a full calendar of specialty courses and competitive league shoots add to this facility’s well-roundedness.
