Hunting Heritage Partnership Grants

Through its Hunting Heritage Partnership grant program, the National Shooting Sports Foundation provides grants to state fish and wildlife agencies that support a variety of state-level recruitment and retention programs. These funds are helping states expand hunting opportunities, keep current hunters active and recruit new hunters with the goal of preserving the future of America's hunting heritage.

The Hunting Heritage Partnership (HHP) provides grants for a variety of state-level hunter recruitment and retention programs to help ensure the future of hunting. HHP grants can help to:

  • increase hunter access to public and private lands
  • keep current hunters hunting
  • recruit next generation hunters
  • create more opportunities to hunt
  • fund communications programs geared toward recruiting and retaining hunters
