Funding for Building & Enhancing Public Shooting Ranges
Over the past decade, shooting sports participation has increased 56 percent, straining shooting range capacity. To assist range development and expansion efforts, NSSF worked with state wildlife agencies to better understand where public demand for ranges is the greatest, how to build or expand shooting ranges using excise taxes from the Pittman-Robertson Act and to identify the resources and services states and private ranges need to overcome expansion obstacles.
This webinar will inform you on how to take advantage of the new provisions in excise tax regulations designed to help states develop and expand public ranges, how to identify where demand is the greatest with examples from 12 states, plus where to access the new resources and case studies now available from the NSSF.
This webinar applies to public range-related projects only – private sector businesses are ineligible for Pittman-Robertson funding.
