Project ChildSafe to Attend Celerant’s Annual Conference
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Project ChildSafe® announces it will exhibit at Celerant Technology’s 22nd Annual FFL Client Conference in Dallas, May 4–5. Celerant is a preferred retail software provider of the NSSF, and has provided point-of-sale software to the firearm industry for over 20 years. Project ChildSafe is the firearm safety education program of NSSF®, The Firearm Industry Trade Association.
Throughout the Celerant conference, Project ChildSafe will have personnel on-site to strengthen relationships with existing partners and reinforce the importance of firearm safety and education within the retail environment.
“We’re excited to once again welcome Project ChildSafe to our upcoming client conference this week in Dallas, continuing a tradition of promoting safety across our dealer community,” said Michele Salerno, Celerant Chief Growth Officer. “And with our built-in ‘round up’ donation feature across POS and eCommerce, we’re making it easy for our dealers — and their customers — to support this important mission.”
For the first time, Celerant covered the registration fee for customers to attend its annual conference — which brings together retailers, industry leaders and technology experts for immersive learning, collaboration and networking. Attendees will have access to expert-led sessions, hands-on workshops and strategic discussions focused on optimizing retail operations, enhancing compliance and leveraging modern technology to drive growth. The event will also feature valuable networking opportunities, allowing businesses to connect with peers, partners and thought leaders across the firearms and sporting goods industries.
Other industry partners who will be participating in this year’s event include SIG SAUER, Sports South, RSR Group, Master FFL, Silencer Shop, 4473 Cloud, Chattanooga Shooting Supplies, FastBound, FFLGuard, the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW), FFL Consultants, Slingit and Guns.com.
This year’s conference takes place at the Westin Stonebriar Golf Resort. An optional Golf Retreat kicked off for attendees Sunday, May 3. With participation from NSSF and Project ChildSafe, Celerant conference attendees will gain not only technological expertise but also a deeper understanding of the role they play in advancing safety and compliance across the firearms industry.

About Project ChildSafe
NSSF, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, launched Project ChildSafe in 1999 (originally as Project HomeSafe). Since 1999, the program has provided more than 42 million free firearm safety kits that include gun locks to firearm owners in all 50 states through partnerships with thousands of law enforcement agencies across the country. That’s in addition to the more than 70 million free locking devices manufacturers have included, and continue to include, with new firearms sold since 1998. While helping to prevent accidents among children is a focus, Project ChildSafe is intended to help adults practice greater firearm safety in the home. More information is available at projectchildsafe.org.
