Understanding Hunter & Target Shooter Personas: Key Motivations That Drive Participation

The motivations to hunt and target shoot vary widely. Trying to speak to the average hunter or target shooter using “one-size-fits-all” messaging will fail to develop the personal connections and trust needed to win greater participation and purchases.

To help marketers and R3 professionals better understand why people hunt and shoot, and how to better target and connect with consumers, the Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies, with support from the Multi-State Conservation Grant program, surveyed thousands of hunters and target shooters to identify the unique segments that make up the market.

This webinar will introduce four hunting and six target shooting segments – or personas – that represent the entire U.S. market and be accompanied by visual-based documents that you can use to improve your product planning, marketing and communications efforts.
