The NSSF® Project ChildSafe® Participating at Celerant’s Client Conference 2023 Next Week in Atlanta

Celerant kicking off dealer raffles, totaling $1,500, to help encourage donations for Project ChildSafe

Staten Island, NY – The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) will be exhibiting Project ChildSafe at Celerant’s annual client conference next week in Atlanta. Project ChildSafe is a program dedicated to firearm safety and education, and Celerant’s retail software makes it easy for dealers to support the program by accepting donations in their store, range and website. To support Project ChildSafe, Celerant is contributing $1,500 worth of raffles to dealers that collect donations through Celerant’s retail software.

“NSSF is grateful to Celerant for its continued support of Project ChildSafe through the donation module in its point-of-sale software, and for encouraging its firearm retailer clients through this $1,500 conference raffle and other incentives to help Project ChildSafe promote responsible firearm ownership nationwide,” said Bill Brassard, NSSF’s Senior Director of Communications.

Collect Donations for Project ChildSafe with Celerant

Through Celerant’s point of sale and eCommerce platform, dealers can give customers the option to donate at the end of each purchase. After enabling the pre-configured “ChildSafe” template in Celerant’s backend software, a donation option will appear on the POS payment screen for store sales, and at checkout for online purchases. To make a donation, customers can either roundup their order to the nearest dollar, or choose a specific denomination. Dealers can also run a report to see all donations by store/range/online, ensuring they send the correct amount to Project ChildSafe. All donations are tax deductible.

Celerant’s Raffles to Support Project ChildSafe

To support Project ChildSafe, Celerant is offering two raffles at the upcoming client conference to firearm dealers that collect donations for the program through their Celerant retail software and/or eCommerce website. All participating dealers will be automatically entered to win the $500 raffle. The winner of the grand-prize of $1,000 will go to the dealer that collects the most donations over the course of the program. Prizes will be applied to the dealer’s statement for Celerant software and services.

“Celerant has supported the firearms industry for 20+ years, and we are eager to support Project ChildSafe,” stated Ian Goldman, President and CEO, Celerant Technology. “We already made it really simple for dealers to collect donations through our software; by offering $1,500 in raffles, we hope to encourage even more dealers to participate. We look forward to seeing the NSSF at this year’s conference in Atlanta, and help continue to raise awareness about firearm safety.”

Celerant’s Client Conference 2023

Celerant’s dealer conference takes place May 8 – 10 in Atlanta, where dealers, Celerant’s team members and industry partners can spend a couple of days networking, learning how to utilize the Celerant software more effectively, and discuss industry best practices and changes.
