South Dakota Signs on as Silver Sponsor of 8th Annual NSSF/HAVA Golf Classic
WASHINGTON, D.C. — NSSF®, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, is pleased to announce that South Dakota has signed on to sponsor the 8th Annual NSSF/HAVA Golf Classic at the Silver level.
The South Dakota Governor’s Office of Economic Development strives to foster new businesses, recruit out-of-state businesses as well as retain and expand existing businesses and job opportunities for all South Dakotans.
“Many thanks to South Dakota for supporting our American soldiers and the HAVA mission,” said Chris Dolnack, NSSF Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Officer. “The state’s sponsorship goes a long way towards ensuring our injured veterans have access to the outdoor programs that help them heal.”
“South Dakota deeply respects the service and sacrifice made by our American Military Veterans,” says Steve Westra, Commissioner of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development. “Sponsoring the 8th Annual NSSF/HAVA Golf Tournament aligns with our unwavering commitment to supporting the men and women who have served our country.”
The NSSF/HAVA Golf Classic, now in its eighth year, raises money to support disabled veterans with their healing process through guided hunts, target shooting events and other outdoor sports activities. HAVA is Honored American Veterans Afield, a 501(c)(3) organization formed by companies in the shooting and outdoor industry.
The 2023 8th Annual NSSF/HAVA Golf Classic will be held Sunday, January 15, two days before the opening of the 2023 SHOT Show® at the Bear’s Best Las Vegas Country Club. For more information on this important event, visit www.shotshow.org/golf.
