NSSF Welcomes Lisa Davis as Vice President, Human Resources

WASHINGTON, D.C.—NSSF®, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, is pleased to announce that Lisa Davis has joined the organization as its new Vice President, Human Resources. She succeeds Deb Kenney, who recently retired after 29 years with NSSF.

Davis brings more than 25 years of human resources leadership experience across multiple industries, including firearms, e-commerce, healthcare, manufacturing and global IT consulting. Most recently, she served as Human Resources Director at industry manufacturer Gwynedd Manufacturing (Geissele Automatics), where she was a key member of its executive team.

“First of all, we wish Deb all the best in her well-earned retirement,” said Joe Bartozzi, NSSF President and CEO. “She has played an immense role in shaping NSSF’s success over the years. Our organization’s greatest asset is its employees, and Deb has helped build an all-star team that our entire industry can be proud of.”

“We’re very happy to welcome Lisa aboard to help build upon that success. She brings a strong skillset and a wealth of experience that will greatly benefit NSSF, its members and the industry we serve,” said Bartozzi.

“The opportunity to help build such an amazing team of professionals at NSSF has truly been a pleasure,” said Kenney. “Working alongside such extraordinary talent and observing their work and dedication up close and personal every day has been most rewarding.  While my decision to retire is bittersweet, I look forward to this new and exciting chapter.”
