NSSF Board of Governors Welcomes Todd Seyfert

WASHINGTON, D.C.—NSSF^®, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, is pleased to announce that industry executive Todd Seyfert has been elected to the NSSF Board of Governors.

Seyfert, who is President and CEO of Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc., was elected to serve on the NSSF Board of Governors at the NSSF Annual Membership Meeting held during the recently concluded 2026 SHOT Show^®, the NSSF-owned firearm industry trade show, in Las Vegas. Seyfert previously served on the NSSF Board of Governors from 2015–2016 when he was with Vista Outdoor.

“I’m honored to join the NSSF Board of Governors and look forward to working with my fellow board members to help support NSSF’s work of protecting the firearm industry’s interests,” said Seyfert.

Taking the helm of Ruger in March of last year, Seyfert arrived with a distinguished track record of driving corporate growth, profitability and operational excellence across multiple manufacturing enterprises.

Seyfert was formerly CEO of FeraDyne Outdoors, LLC, a manufacturer of archery and hunting products. He has broad industry experience, having worked at ATK/Vista Outdoor, Magnum Research, Bushnell, Michaels of Oregon and Birchwood Laboratories. He received his MBA from the University of St. Thomas.

Seyfert has served as a board member of Chattanooga Shooting Sports, Inc. He currently serves as a board member and governance chair of Hodgdon Powder Company, as well as a member of the boards of the Youth Shooting Sports Alliance and the Northwest Suburban Chapter of Pheasants Forever.
