NSSF Adds South Dakota Gov. Larry Rhoden to Governors’ Forum at SHOT Show 2026
WASHINGTON, D.C. — NSSF®, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, is proud to announce that South Dakota Gov. Larry Rhoden will join the stage with six fellow governors for the 5th Annual Governors’ Forum at SHOT Show® 2026. Gov. Rhoden, an ardent Second Amendment supporter, hunter, lifelong rancher, military veteran and public servant, assumed his office in January 2025. Gov. Rhoden previously served in South Dakota’s state legislature and as lieutenant governor when he was elected in 2018 and re-elected in 2022.
The Governors’ Forum at SHOT Show 2026 is open to all attendees. Registration for this free event is open, but space is limited. Register now to save your spot.

The 5th Annual Governors’ Forum is an opportunity for SHOT Show attendees to hear directly from state governors of the importance of the firearm industry to their states, Second Amendment rights of their citizens and their insights to challenges and opportunities ahead for gun rights in the United States.
Confirmed for the Governors’ Forum is (in alphabetical order of states):
- Arkansas – Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders
- Idaho – Governor Brad Little
- Montana – Governor Greg Gianforte
- Nebraska – Governor Jim Pillen
- Nevada – Governor Joe Lombardo
- South Dakota – Governor Larry Rhoden
- Wyoming – Governor Mark Gordon
The forum will be moderated by Shermichael Singleton, co-owner and co-creator of WeTheFree.com and GunsOutTV, American political strategist, writer and political commentator. Singleton will discuss the importance of the firearm industry to the governors’ respective states, the legislative landscape and what can and should be done to protect the industry from gun control special interests threatening the firearm and ammunition industry and Second Amendment rights.
NSSF’s Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT Show), will take place at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas from Jan. 20–23, 2026. NSSF will host the annual Governors’ Forum at SHOT Show Wednesday, Jan. 21 from 1–2 p.m. at The Venetian Expo, Lido Room 3101A.
The Governors’ Forum is open to all SHOT Show attendees and media. Those interested in attending should register here to save their spot.
