National Shooting Sports Foundation to Sponsor Hunting Preserve Conference

This summer, owners and employees from all over the country will gather in the Midwest for the first North American Gamebird Association (NAGA) Hunting Club Conference, July 18-21, 2022, at Deer Creek State Park Lodge and Conference Center in Ohio. NSSF—The Firearm Industry Trade Association, is the Platinum Sponsor for the jam-packed agenda that addresses many of the significant challenges facing the hunting preserve industry.

Presentation Topics Include:

  • Navigating the ammo shortage
  • Creating measurable results through Internet marketing and social media
  • Preventing the avian flu from destroying your hunting preserve
  • Maintaining high-quality cover that will last the season
  • Short-term holding pens that ensure quality birds
  • Using customer service software to grow your customer base
  • And much more!

“Between ammo shortages and avian flu outbreaks and labor shortages, the hunting preserve community has thrived through it all,” said Peg Ballou of Elkhorn Lake Hunt Club and President of NAGA. We survive because, in many ways, we’re like a big family that’s willing to share information to help each other prosper. Part of the secret to our success has been the ongoing support of NSSF and the firearms and ammunition industry. They’ve been with us through a lot, and their support of this first conference means a lot!”

Our new annual Hunting Club Conference will host networking and relationship building with exhibitors and other hunting club owners and family fun on a beautiful property. You can find registration, lodging and conference information at the NAGA website under the Hunting Club Conference dropdown menu.
