The 2013 Shooting Industry Masters–the largest annual invitation industry-only match–will be kicking off this weekend (July 19-20 in Cody, Wyo.) with GunBroker.com once again hosting the Masters online auction as the official online auction site for this year’s Masters.

Ready for auction are six custom handguns: a one-of-a-kind 1911 package by custom pistolsmith Joe Chambers, a North American Arms custom Sidewinder with a unique Masters serial number of “Masters13,” two custom Ruger Blackhawks by Mag-na-port, a Nighthawk Custom 1911 and a S&W M&P .40 customized by Robar.

In addition, Mossberg donated one of ten commemorative Mossberg 500 shotguns celebrating their 10 millionth production of the firearm. Featuring a matte-silver finished receiver with gold inlay, this commemorative 12-gauge pump shotgun will have a unique serialization of U500005.

“Thanks to the generous product contribution from industry partners, we expect to raise a record amount for First Shots through the Shooting Industry Masters auctions this year. These incredible one-of-a-kind guns will make winning bidders very happy,” said Randy Molde, Masters chairman. “We appreciate the effort and commitment GunBroker.com has to the industry, and for preserving hunting and shooting traditions.”

Robar S&W M&P
Robar customized this Smith & Wesson M&P with a silver-grey NP3+ finish to the metal parts and crafted a custom trigger, along with test-firing it for functionality and reliability.

“GunBroker.com has been part of our industry for little more than 10 years, and they have earned a reputation as a rock-solid supporter of our hunting/shooting sports traditions. GunBroker.com-hosted auctions have helped raise significant funding for the Shooting Industry Masters, the NSSF, the Hunting Heritage Trust, USA Shooting and many others,” exclaimed Bob Delfay, president of Hunting Heritage Trust.

Ruger Magnaport Predator
This Ruger Super Blackhawk Mag-na-port “Predator” model in .44 Magnum features an inverted muzzle crown, a velvet hone finish and polished stripes on the cylinder.

The 11th annual Shooting Industry Masters, owned and operated by FMG Publications, is the largest invitation industry-only match and will be held July 19-20 in Cody, Wyo. In the past 3 years, the Masters has raised nearly $150,000 for NSSF’s First Shots Program and the USA Shooting Team.
