NSSF Members Receive Free Admission to NSSF Retailer Seminars
NSSF provides free ATF and FFL compliance seminars across the country to its retailer members. Seminars are now offered in two formats, a five-hour afternoon seminar that focuses on topics such as error proofing 4473 forms, straw purchase awareness, how to legally sell firearms at gun shows, how to take a firearms inventory like ATF and the NICS background check process. Our new eight-hour seminars also include a second education track designed to provide training to firearms retailers on how to adjust their businesses to face the demands of today’s ever-changing customer base. Topics in this track include merchandising, adapting marketing messages to reach a broader customer base, developing special events to bring new shooters to the business and staff training on how to welcome and serve new clientele.
NSSF Retailer Seminars are open to all FFL holders. Host state FFLs receive an invitation to attend their area seminars 45 days prior to the seminar date. NSSF member retailers may attend the sessions for free; non-members may attend with a $100 fee per attendee. View the full schedule of this year’s Retailer Seminars.
