NSSF Announces Lead Management and OSHA Compliance Workshop for Shooting Ranges

NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®) will be holding a special Lead Management and OSHA Compliance Workshop March 1-3 in Charlotte, North Carolina, open to all shooting range owners and operators. The two-day workshop will cover a variety of topics, including environmental risks to shooting ranges, environmental laws and regulations pertaining to shooting ranges, OSHA code enforcement, safety and health strategies, recordkeeping, hazard response and communication and more. The workshop will be moderated by Zach Snow, NSSF Manager, Shooting Promotions, along with guest speakers Ethan R. Ware from McNair Attorneys, Glenn Welch of Welch Group Environmental, and USMC Gunnery Sgt. David Schmidbauer.

“The range owners we talk to are extremely dedicated to running the safest and healthiest facilities they can,” said Snow. “This intensive workshop was developed to answer the questions they’re asking and help them maintain that high level of compliance they’re seeking. Our team of experts has hands-on experience in the fields of environmental law related to shooting ranges, OSHA compliance and inspection, lead reclamation and range maintenance. Their years of experience will help our seminar attendees understand the issues they face and provide them with recommended compliance strategies to protect their businesses for many years to come.”

Check-in and registration for this special workshop takes place on March 1, with the workshop held March 2-3. The workshop is open to both NSSF member and non-member range owners and operators, as well as related state and federal agency personnel, with the following pricing:
