Newest Bronze Sponsor of Firearms Industry Compliance Conference is OCR Global Trade Management

NEWTOWN, Conn. — Orchid Advisors, the firearm industry’s trusted compliance and operations experts, and the National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the firearms industry’s trade association, are pleased to announce that OCR Global Trade Management has agreed to sponsor the 2016 Firearm Industry Compliance Conference (FICC) at the Bronze level. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., OCR is a leading provider of international trade compliance solutions.

“Denied party searching and license management are core functions of export licensing programs and OCR offers best-in-class solutions,” said Jeff Grody, leader of Orchid Advisors’ Export Services practice. “We are delighted that OCR has elected to sponsor the conference again.”
“We are pleased to have a company like OCR on board with us,” said Larry Keane, NSSF Senior Vice President and General Counsel. “Its well-recognized expertise in international compliance issues will be of value to those attending this conference.”

“For more than 30 years, OCR Services has been providing our clients with Import/Export Compliance automation to help them organize their processes and maintain their data,” said Elayne J. Garber, OCR’s Business Development Manager. “We are proud to support Orchid Advisors and the NSSF.”

Co-hosted by Orchid Advisors and NSSF, the 2016 Firearms Industry Compliance Conference will take place May 2-4 in Atlanta, Georgia. The conference theme is highly focused on the future — where regulations are headed, how new developments in product research and development affect Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs), and what processes and technologies FFLs are using to significantly improve their business. Additionally, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) will provide focused sessions throughout the conference, offering FFLs an opportunity to interact, ask questions and focus on proactive compliance. In addition to three learning tracks to choose from during the conference, attendees can also take part in one of two pre-conference workshops on May 2. One workshop will cover firearms industry technology, while the other will take an in-depth look at federal firearms regulations.

Seating is limited for this conference and it will sell out, so industry members are encouraged to register now. To learn more about the 2016 Firearms Industry Compliance Conference, visit www.ficconference.com. Register and reserve your seat here.

A limited number of sponsorship opportunities are available for this event. Contact Chris Tatulli, NSSF director of exhibit & sponsorship sales, at ctatulli@nssf.org or 203-460-1320 ext. 214.
