A program of NSSF, National Shooting Sports Month is designed to celebrate the shooting sports by encouraging participation in target shooting from coast to coast, with emphasis placed on introducing newcomers to the fun of shooting and reactivating former shooters.

Thousands attending the SHOT Show are wearing “#LetsGoShooting” pins and learning how their company or organization can participate in National Shooting Sports Month this August by listing their target shooting events, store sales and other target shooting-related activities and incentives at ShootingSportsMonth.org.

Launched last year, National Shooting Sports Month attracted thousands of participants to shooting ranges and to events hosted by ranges, firearms retailers and organizations. The goal for 2018 is to grow this celebration month by making even more shooting sports enthusiasts aware of it and having greater support from industry.
