#gunvote: Independence Day

As we gather with our friends and family this Independence Day, let us not forget how important it is to be informed and active citizens.

Every day our Second Amendment rights are being challenged, and it has become increasingly important to make our voices heard. It was 236 years ago that the British attempted to disarm the American colonists, but our founders knew that an armed citizenry is a free citizenry. We may hold the truths of our country’s founding to be “self-evident,” but there are those who do not.

Don’t risk your rights this Independence Day. Declare and affirm your independence by staying informed and up-to-date this election season with #gunvote. To learn more, visit nssf.org/gunvote, and together we can protect the principles upon which our great country was founded.
