Daniel Defense Sponsors
SHOT Show Mobile App for Third Year
2017 App Now Available for Download
NEWTOWN, Conn.—The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the firearms industry’s trade association, is pleased to announce that Daniel Defense has returned to sponsor the SHOT Show Mobile App for the third consecutive year. Headquartered in Black Creek, Georgia, Daniel Defense is a leading manufacturer of premium MSRs (modern sporting rifles), components, accessories and ammunition. The company announced a $29 million dollar expansion of its Georgia facility in late October.
“We couldn’t be happier to have Daniel Defense back as the marquee sponsor of the SHOT Show Mobile App,” said Chris Dolnack, NSSF Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. “Every year this app improves in functionality and grows in user numbers, and that upward trajectory on both fronts is due in no small part to this company’s continued support.”
“We value our relationship with NSSF and appreciate the opportunity to help provide this valuable tool for SHOT Show attendees,” noted Cindy Daniel, Executive Vice President and head of the marketing division for Daniel Defense. “Our continued sponsorship of the mobile app just makes sense from a marketing perspective.”
The SHOT Show Mobile App, available for iPhone, Android and Blackberry products, is an all-information, one-stop-shop for everyone attending the show. From real-time show announcements and the interactive floor maps that allow buyers and media to instantly connect with the exhibitors they need to see, to meeting and scheduling functions, product information download capabilities (including product scanning at the New Product Center), SHOT Show video feeds and more, this app is now used by nearly every one of the more than 64,000 people attending the show each year. The app can be synced across various smart devices, and it also includes social media, note taking and educational session rating functionalities, among others.
The 2017 SHOT Show will take place January 17-20 at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada.
