Associated Services in Insurance/Firearms Insurance Agency Sponsors 2017 Import/Export Conference

NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association for the firearms industry, is pleased to announce that Associated Services in Insurance/Firearms Insurance Agency has signed as a Bronze sponsor of the upcoming 2017 Import/Export Conference. Headquartered in Grain Valley, Missouri, ASI/FIA has served as an independent insurance agency for businesses in the firearms and ammunition industry for more than a decade, representing more than 500 manufacturers and providing product liability, property, ocean cargo and umbrella coverages that meet the unique needs of firearms industry members.

Taking place August 2-4 in Washington, D.C., the NSSF and FAIR Trade Group Import/Export Conference gathers industry professionals to discuss the many compliance issues facing today’s U.S. firearms and accessory makers negotiating the complexities involved in doing business with other countries.

“We are so pleased to have ASI join us for this event,” said Melissa Schilling, NSSF Director, Exhibitions and Conferences. “Proper insurance products are a critical component of any successful import/export business plan, and having the professionals from this company on hand during this conference will go a long way toward helping our attendees tackle these complex topics.”

“We feel privileged to be able to play a part in supporting this great event,” said Brad Burditt, President of ASI/Firearms Insurance Agent. “We tackle new issues every day in the Import/Export Insurance world, and we are delighted to be able to share those experiences to help fellow NSSF members.”

A joint presentation of NSSF and the FAIR Trade Group, the 2017 Import/Export Conference is the firearms industry’s premier educational event for manufacturers and others in the supply chain doing business internationally or considering such expansion.
