Woods Group Range Consulting to Sponsor NSSF Lead Management and OSHA Workshop
NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®) is pleased to announce that the Woods Group Range Consulting has signed on to sponsor the 2015 NSSF Lead Management and OSHA Workshop, March 1-3, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Headed by owner Patrick Woods, Woods Group Range Consulting specializes in new range establishment consulting, range and firearms retail management and a variety of indoor range services such as HVAC assessment, budget planning and equipment selection, energy consumption plans and lead air sampling.
“We are very excited to have Patrick Woods and Woods Group Range Consulting sponsor this very important workshop,” said Zach Snow, NSSF Manager, Shooting Promotions. “When you have a company as highly specialized as the Woods Group lending its expertise and support to others in the same segment of our industry, everyone benefits.”
“I am tremendously excited to have the ability to be a sponsor of this conference and support the NSSF in its goal of educating and protecting range owners,” said Woods. “As a range owner myself and consultant, I have watched the industry change tremendously over the last few years and witnessed our liability increase with increased governmental oversight. HVAC is one of the highest potential sources of liability—and liability prevention—and is one of the most substantial components of a new range’s budget. Through strong relationships with the most innovative and cost-effective vendors available, I will have the ability to assist my fellow range owners in maintaining cost efficiency and increasing liability prevention, and I look forward to educating those attending this important workshop about these options.”
The 2015 NSSF Lead Management and OSHA Workshop is a two-day seminar focusing on OSHA (Occupational, Safety and Health Administration) and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) compliance, range safety and health planning, hazard communication, medical surveillance and OSHA recording and environmental laws and regulations pertaining to firearms ranges. Registration for the event is open to both NSSF members and non-members, as well as relevant state and federal agency personnel. Early-bird registration pricing is available through Feb. 13. Seating is limited for this event, so click here now to secure your space in this important workshop.
