Walther Arms Joins NSSF’s Rimfire Challenge as Bronze Sponsor
NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association for the firearms, ammunition, hunting and shooting sports industry, is pleased to announce that Walther Arms has joined the growing list of industry members supporting the NSSF Rimfire Challenge. Coming in as a Bronze Sponsor, Walther Arms is one of the oldest and most recognized gunmakers known to modern shooters. Today the company produces an extensive array of firearms for target shooting and home-defense use, as well as continuing its heritage as a maker of extremely high-end competition air pistols, target pistols and target rifles.
The NSSF Rimfire Challenge (originally developed by Ruger and formerly known as the Ruger Rimfire Challenge) focuses on competition with .22-caliber rifles and pistols. Though the match format emphasizes safety, fun and support for newcomers, Rimfire Challenge matches are open to shooters of all ages and shooting experience levels, and events are conducted at ranges nationwide.
“It’s an honor to have a company like Walther, whose roots in our industry run so deep, join us in supporting the Rimfire Challenge,” said Zach Snow, NSSF Manager, Shooting Promotions. “Walther’s sponsorship provides a wonderful platform for connecting these new and very enthusiastic shooting competitors with a firearms company rich in target shooting history and firearms performance on the competition line.”
“We are very excited to be a part of the NSSF Rimfire Challenge,” said Everett Deger, Walther Marketing Director. “We feel the shooting sports continue to grow, and this event involves shooters of every level as an important family-friendly event.”
There are still opportunities remaining for additional Rimfire Challenge sponsor support. Please contact Zach Snow at 203-426-1320 ext.224 for information.
