Contact your senator today to urge a yes vote for Senator Sessions.
U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions’ nomination to be the next attorney general of the United States was voted out of committee and advanced to the full Senate for a vote. The Senate Judiciary Committee voted 11-9 to advance Sessions’ nomination for a full vote. Sessions is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment, calling it a “personal right,” in testimony before the committee. He also told his fellow senators that universal background checks were problematic and pointed to his record prosecuting gun crimes when he was attorney general for Alabama. NSSF’s support for Sessions was entered into the Congressional record and your support is needed now. Contact your senator today to urge a yes vote for Senator Sessions.
