Sportsmen's Alliance Sponsors Executive Management SeminarNEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the firearms industry trade association, is pleased to announce that Sportsmen’s Alliance will once again be sponsoring SHOT Show’s Executive Management Seminar. Designed as the premier educational forum for rising managerial and executive-level professionals, the 2018 SHOT Show® Executive Management Seminar will take place the day before the show opens, Monday, Jan. 22. This is the second consecutive year Sportsmen’s Alliance will be sponsoring the event.

Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, Sportsmen’s Alliance is an association of private citizens, businesses, conservation and sportsmen’s clubs and outfitters that advocates for the rights of hunters, anglers and trappers, wildlife conservation and land stewardship, while also promoting the recruitment and retention of new and youth hunters.

“We’re very pleased that this well-respected organization will be joining us again for this seminar,” said Jim Curcuruto, NSSF Director, Research and Market Development. “Sportsmen’s Alliance has amply demonstrated over the years its ability to lead the charge on important issues affecting America’s sportsmen, and it’s that stewardship that lends itself so well to the Executive Management Seminar.”

“The Executive Management Seminar is one of the premier education and professional development opportunities for our industry, and we’re pleased to once again be a supporting partner in this event,” said Evan Heusinkveld, Sportsmen’s Alliance President and CEO. “NSSF has assembled a slate of high-quality speakers discussing relevant content with the leaders of our industry. This event is a highlight of the SHOT Show for our team.”

During the 2018 SHOT Show Executive Management Seminar, attendees will hear from top experts such as Steven Rinella, Lt. Col. Allen West, Dr. Tim Irwin, Dr. Jason Selk and Marsha Petrie Sue, who will discuss the hottest management techniques and business practices taking place today. Attendees will learn about trending topics, such as how to thrive in a changing market, cultivating leadership skills, workforce development, avoiding derailment and improving mental toughness, all aimed at improving skill sets and providing ways to hone business action plans.

Registration for the 2018 SHOT Show is now open. Both NSSF Members and non-members are invited to add the Executive Management Seminar or SHOT Show University to the list of events they wish to attend once they’ve successfully registered to attend SHOT Show.
