SIG SAUER Signs as Silver Sponsor of 2016 NSSF Shooting Sports Fantasy Camp
NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association for the firearms trade, is pleased to announce that New Hampshire-based SIG SAUER has agreed to be a Silver sponsor of the 2016 Shooting Sports Fantasy Camp. A maker of premium firearms, ammunition, optics and accessories, SIG SAUER recently announced it is finalizing plans to establish a new ammunition manufacturing facility in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
“At every turn, SIG SAUER steps up to the plate in support of NSSF’s mission to promote, protect and preserve hunting and the shooting sports,” said Chris Dolnack, NSSF Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. “Our inaugural Shooting Sports Fantasy Camp is no exception, and we think our guests will thoroughly enjoy connecting with a company that goes above and beyond to improve the customer experience with its products.”
“Sig Sauer is committed to the long-term development of training and advancement in the shooting sports,” said Tom Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer & Executive Vice President, Sales at SIG SAUER. “We have one of the most advanced training facilities in the world and a staff committed to all levels of skill, so it only makes sense for SIG to be involved in this innovative idea and pilot NSSF pilot Fantasy Camp.”
NSSF’s 2016 Shooting Sports Fantasy Camp, modeled after the success of similarly designed events in the race car and major league baseball industries, features a full weekend of shooting instruction for just 30 guests from some of the most notable names in professional shooting, including Julie Golob, Jerry and Kay Clark Miculek, Jessie Duff, Dianna Muller and K.C. Eusebio. The Clark County Shooting Complex in Las Vegas, Nevada, will be the host range for the event, which will take place from March 31 to April 2. In addition to the weekend of shooting, the 2016 NSSF Shooting Sports Fantasy Camp includes transportation to and from McCarran Airport to and from the shooting range and the host hotel, Aliante Casino + Hotel, all meals from the time each guests arrives, a swag bag full of some of today’s best shooting gear, evening cocktail receptions, and more.
