NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®) Board of Governors has announced the appointment of its newest board member, Richard Sprague, owner of Sprague’s Sports in Yuma, Arizona.
Raised in the shooting sports business, Sprague has been owner of his family’s 60-year-old business since 1984. In 2005, Sprague’s Sports moved into its 18,100-square-foot facility in Yuma with a 10-position, 25-yard rifle-rated range and classroom. Sprague is also owner of Sprague’s Sports’ sister company Truck Mates/Line X of Yuma, which features truck accessories of all kinds, including camper shells, tonneau covers, tool boxes and more. Sprague has served on NSSF’s Retailer Advisory Council for more than 10 years.
