Orchid Advisors and the National Shooting Sports Foundation Announce Epicor as Gold Sponsor of Firearms Industry Compliance Conference
NEWTOWN, Conn. — Orchid Advisors, the firearm industry’s trusted compliance and operations experts, and the National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the firearms industry’s trade association, are pleased to announce that Epicor Software Corporation, a global provider of industry-specific enterprise software to promote business growth, has agreed to sponsor this year’s Firearms Industry Compliance Conference (FICC) at the Gold level. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, Epicor is a global leader in business software solutions serving approximately 20,000 customers in over 150 countries, including the Epicor FFL Compliance Manager™.
“The continued evolution of firearms industry technology plays an important role in licensee growth and compliance,” said Jon Rydberg, CEO of Orchid Advisors. “We are honored to have Epicor sponsor the FICC for the second consecutive year. Its expertise in point of sale (POS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) and electronic A&D software development is a benefit to our conference attendees.”
“Epicor’s breadth of software solutions and expertise will be a welcome addition to this year’s FICC,” said Larry Keane, NSSF Senior Vice President and General Counsel. “We’re very pleased to have Epicor’s support.”
“Partnering with NSSF and Orchid Advisors, we are able to promote best practices, simplify compliance management, and make easy-to-use technology readily available to FFL dealers,” said Doug Smith, Director of Product Management and Marketing for Epicor. “We are pleased to attend and sponsor the FICC once again.”
Co-hosted by Orchid Advisors and NSSF, the 2016 Firearms Industry Compliance Conference will take place May 2-4 in Atlanta, Georgia. The conference theme is highly focused on the future — where regulations are headed, how new developments in product research and development affect Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs), and what processes and technologies FFLs are using to significantly improve their business. Additionally, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) will provide focused sessions throughout the conference, offering FFLs an opportunity to interact, ask questions and focus on proactive compliance. In addition to three learning tracks to choose from during the conference, attendees can also take part in one of two pre-conference workshops on May 2. One workshop will cover firearms industry technology, while the other will take an in-depth look at federal firearms regulations.
Seating is limited for this conference and it will sell out, so industry members are encouraged to register now. To learn more about the 2016 Firearms Industry Compliance Conference, visit www.ficconference.com. Register and reserve your seat here.
