NSSF Welcomes MarketPlace Insight as Presenting Sponsor of CMO Summit

NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association for the firearms industry, is pleased to announce that MarketPlace Insight has signed as the Presenting Sponsor of the association’s upcoming CMO Summit. Led by a global management consultant and a nationally recognized business intelligence expert, MarketPlace Insight has been providing the industry’s firearm manufacturing, distribution and retail executives with the insight needed to make critical business decisions. The firm aggregates an immense amount of daily buying, selling, pricing and demographic data from its POS and online retail sources for purposes of driving profitability, product definition and market share.

“While a component of marketing is intuition, intuition doesn’t happen without boots-on-the-ground experience and hard numbers to back it up,” said Chris Dolnack, NSSF Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. “Without a doubt, having MarketPlace Insight involved in our first CMO Summit is going to be a value-added proposition for every marketing executive and creative talent in attendance.”

“On its own, data analytics is only a buzzword that can fail to deliver meaningful value. In contrast, MarketPlace Insight aggregates real-time transaction data and provides executives and board members with defined actions to navigate the competitive landscape,” says Ryan Nokes, Director of MarketPlace Insight. “We are honored to be NSSF’s presenting sponsor and look forward to adding value to this inaugural event by demonstrating how we deliver this content with the aid of industry-specific experts who have worked across multiple levels of the firearm supply chain.”
