NSSF Renews as Title Sponsor of Industry Day at the Range Through 2019
NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®) is pleased to announce that it has renewed its title sponsorship of Industry Day at the Range, the preeminent pre-SHOT Show event for media members and buyers, through 2019.
Held annually the day before the opening of SHOT Show, Industry Day at the Range provides members of the press and retail, wholesale and law enforcement purchasing agents the opportunity for hands-on testing of firearms, ammunition and related accessories being introduced to the consumer market during SHOT Show.
“Without a doubt, Industry Day at the Range is an invaluable component of SHOT Show and one that’s especially important to all of us here at NSSF,” said Chris Dolnack, NSSF Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. “This is one of our best opportunities to promote Project ChildSafe, “Own it? Respect it. Secure it.” and other important campaigns to the media members and purchasers who are key to keeping these projects in the public eye and promoting the safety lessons that are so important to each and every one of us. Our extended commitment to this event is an essential element of our mission to promote, protect and preserve hunting and the shooting sports.”
“We could not be more pleased that NSSF has decided to continue their title sponsorship of this event,” said Cathy Williams, co-owner of Industry Day at the Range. “Thanks to the NSSF, Industry Day has grown into the premier event in the shooting and hunting industry. We are proud and excited to have them on board as our long-term title sponsor as we continue to expand this fantastic event.”
Last year’s invitation-only Industry Day at the Range was attended by more than 1,100 members of media and 400 buyers who were able to increase their knowledge of the equipment on display by more than 170 manufacturers. More than 500,000 rounds of ammunition were expended by attendees of this exclusive hands-on event, where exhibitors of firearms and ammunition were joined by truck makers, archery equipment crafters, knife artisans, airgun designers and others debuting their best-of-the-best new product lines.
The 2016 Industry Day at the Range will take place January 18, the day before the opening of the SHOT Show, which runs January 19-22. See a preview of how this event works here.
