NSSF Presents R3 Leader of the Year Award to Jenifer Wisniewski

NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the firearm industry trade association, presented its R3 Leader of the Year Award to Jenifer Wisniewski, Chief of Outreach and Communication with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency during a sponsored lunch at the 85th North American Wildlife and Natural Resource Conference in Omaha, Nebraska.

In her current role, Wisniewski is responsible for recruitment, retention and reactivation (R3) efforts that have allowed her agency to realize year-over-year license sales increases for six years running. Wisniewski is also the President of the Association for Conservation Information, where she is introducing R3 to industry communicators, the chair of the marketing working group for the Council to Advance Hunting and the Shooting Sports, and the chair of the Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies outreach working group that created the Making It Last toolkit. Wisniewski was an early promoter of NSSF’s National Shooting Sports Month® and is currently testing a “Refer a Friend” licensing campaign.
