NSSF Members Visit Georgia State Capitol

The National Shooting Sports Foundation today held its first Firearms Industry Day at the Georgia state Capitol in Atlanta.  Modeled after NSSF’s Congressional Fly-In, today’s event provided the opportunity to meet with elected officials to discuss the more than $365 million positive impact that the firearms industry has on Georgia’s economy, as well as other issues. Industry leaders representing manufacturers, distributors and retailers were privileged to meet with Gov. Nathan Deal and Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle.

During the event, State Sen. David Shafer presented Trevor Santos, NSSF Director, Government Relations – State Affairs, with Georgia Senate Resolution 342, honoring NSSF for its “outstanding work and commendable mission.”
