NSSF Members Get Involved in Promoting Project ChildSafe
Project ChildSafe is increasingly gaining momentum — and our progress to date wouldn’t have been possible without each of our supporters, partners and NSSF member organizations. During our S.A.F.E. Summer campaign this year, we provided more than 100,000 firearm safety kits to our law enforcement partners across the U.S. I want to personally thank those agencies as well as NSSF members for supporting the program and helping us spread the Own it? Respect it. Secure it. message. We’re proud to see members posting campaign stickers in their front windows, attending our events across the country and spreading the word in their communities. Thank you for your support and we hope many more of you will join us in promoting the importance of proper firearm storage through Project ChildSafe.
If your organization hasn’t gotten involved yet, there are still plenty of opportunities such as our new S.A.F.E. Hunt initiative that just launched. Showing your support is easy — display the Own it? Respect it. Secure it. badge on your website, change your Facebook profile picture to the badge, or sign up to be a Project ChildSafe supporter. If you haven’t already, ask your fans and followers to add their names to the firearm safety pledge.
Thanks again for being such positive representatives and ambassadors for responsible firearm ownership.
