NSSF Announces Logistics Expert Firm TLR as Silver Sponsor of Import/Export Conference
NEWTOWN, Conn. — The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association for the firearms industry, is pleased to announce that Portland, Oregon-based logistics expert firm TLR has signed on as a Silver Sponsor for the upcoming Import/Export Conference. Specializing in consultative services and strategic partnering that helps their clients build and expand international market segments, TLR’s team of professionals provide expertise in import, export, regulatory and trade compliance, State Department and Commerce licensing, freight forwarding and customs brokerage.
Taking place August 4-5 in Washington, D.C., the NSSF and FAIR Trade Group Import/Export Conference gathers industry professionals to discuss the many compliance issues facing today’s U.S. firearms and accessory makers negotiating the complexities involved in doing business with other countries.
“TLR and its president, Terri Bartle, have long worked with NSSF, providing training, webinars, guidance and invaluable professional guidance to our members that helps them expand their enterprises into international markets,” said Melissa Schilling, NSSF Director, Exhibitions and Conferences. “It’s a privilege both for us and our members to have them join us again in sponsoring this year’s Import/Export Conference.”
“As a proud, veteran-owned company, TLR is extremely fortunate to partner with many manufacturers and leaders in the firearms and ammunition industry. For us, supporting our clients goes well beyond the transaction, which is why we are actively involved in events that promote education and outreach,” said Terri Bartle, TLR’s President. “Events like the NSSF Import/Export Conference are very important components to overcoming the hurdles our membership faces, and TLR is grateful to be considered a partner and resource to this wonderful community.”
A joint presentation of NSSF and the FAIR Trade Group, the 2015 Import/Export Conference is the firearms industry’s premier educational event for manufacturers and others in the supply chain doing business internationally or considering such expansion.
