NSSF Announces 2016 Industry Summit
Call For Presentations
NEWTOWN, Conn.—The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association for the firearms industry, has announced that the call for presentations is now open for breakout sessions to be presented at the 2016 NSSF Industry Summit. The Summit will be held June 6-8, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at the Pittsburgh Marriott City Center.
Following on the success of the 2015 Summit and building on its primary focus on outreach and diversity, the 2016 Industry Summit will seek to share dynamic and reputable models of success that work towards the common industry goal of reaching new audiences of various demographics and introducing them to hunting and target shooting. As in past Industry Summits, the 2016 event will attract a wealth of key decision makers from all segments of the firearms industry, including manufacturers, ranges, retailers and members of the conservation community and state wildlife agencies, who will work to achieve clearly defined goals that address diversity and outreach efforts that benefit the firearms industry as a whole.
Anyone planning on attending the 2016 Industry Summit may submit to moderate a breakout presentation focusing on diversity and outreach and based on the following topics:

- Marketing and Advertising—What works?
- Using Technology and New Media
- Hunter Recruitment, Retention and Reactivation
- Target Shooter Recruitment, Retention and Reactivation
- Using technology to improve customer interactions

- Legislative and Regulatory Challenges

Breakout presentations must be submitted to NSSF by December 4. In submitting your request for presentation, NSSF reminds you that all sessions will be restricted to 15 minutes, with an additional five minutes allotted for question and answer sessions. Contacts for those presentations accepted for inclusion in the 2016 Industry Summit will be notified of acceptance by email no later than January 6, 2016. Meeting times and space are limited, so we encourage every industry member interested in presenting at the 2016 Summit to provide their submissions as soon as possible.
