NSSF and SHOT Show Build Bridges
at Germany’s IWA OutdoorClassics Show
NUREMBURG, Germany — This week representatives from the National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association for the U.S. firearms industry, are exhibiting at Europe’s 2016 IWA OutdoorClassics show. Working from the NSSF booth on the show floor, as well as the Las Vegas Hospitality Suite, NSSF has the opportunity to interact one-on-one with European manufacturers, buyers and wholesalers who also attend or are planning to attend the association’s annual SHOT Show. IWA OutdoorClassics is the European counterpart to the SHOT Show.
“From manufacturer to wholesaler to retailer, ours is now an incredibly progressive industry, and our members are constantly on the lookout for opportunities that offer them expansion, increased profitability and stability in an ever-fluctuating market,” said Chris Dolnack, NSSF Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. “Our presence at the IWA Show, allows us the opportunity to further those connections abroad that can help transition those opportunities to fruition.”
In addition to the NSSF booth on the show floor, NSSF works alongside representatives from Las Vegas tourism, the Sands Expo Center (home of the SHOT Show), the Venetian/Palazzo hotel complex (NSSF’s headquarter hotels for the SHOT Show), and its show management partner ConvExx in the coordinated effort that is the Las Vegas Hospitality Suite (located in NCC Ost/Krakau Room).
“This special suite is sponsored by the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority,” explained Dolnack. “It provides us the chance to meet, in a quieter, more private space than the IWA show floor, with prospective SHOT Show attendees seeking to learn more about our show, hotels such as the Venetian/Palazzo and all that the exciting city of Las Vegas has to offer when they visit to attend the show.”
IWA OutdoorClassics is Europe’s largest outdoor, shooting sports and hunting products show. Open only to the trade, the show runs from March 4-7 in Nuremburg, Germany’s Nuremburg Exhibition Center. NSSF’s booth is located in Show Hall 5, Stand 130. For more information, visit www.iwa.info/eng/.
