New SHOT Show Supplier Showcase a Huge Success
LAS VEGAS — The 2017 SHOT Show Supplier Showcase enjoyed astounding success in its debut with a crowd of nearly 3,000 CEOs, procurement specialists, engineers and others in the firearms manufacturing world meeting with more than 260 OEM suppliers to network and explore opportunities for advancement.
Held Monday, the day before the 2017 SHOT Show opened, the Supplier Showcase was designed to enhance the connections between the firearms industry’s manufacturers and those third-party suppliers of extrusions, fabrication processes, fabrics, machinery, metal, plastics, software, logistical support and tools.
“We saw a huge interest from suppliers in participating in this event. Exhibit space sold out immediately. Between the turnout of nearly 3,000 attendees and the excitement throughout the day from everyone, this first Supplier Showcase was nothing short of outstanding and we’re already making plans to continue it next year,” said Chris Dolnack, NSSF Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.
The 2017 SHOT Show is a trade-only event for members of the firearms industry. More than 1,600 exhibitors grace the main show floor, with 100 exhibitors new to the industry showing their products in the NEXT Pavilion. Owned and operated by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the trade association for the firearms industry, the SHOT Show is the largest trade show of its kind in the world.
