Marketing Innovator Gerry Katz Joins Executive Management Seminar Speaker Lineup at 2017 SHOT Show
We have just received news that Gerry Katz, one of the most well-regarded marketing minds in America today, has agreed to speak at SHOT Show’s newest educational forum, our 2017 Executive Management Seminar.

Currently serving as vice chairman of Waltham, Massachusetts-based Applied Marketing Science, Katz is a recognized authority in the areas of innovation, new product development and market research, with more than 40 years of consulting experience. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) and is certified as a New Product Development Professional (NPDP). The author of several award-winning papers, he received the William O’Dell Prize from the American Marketing Association in 1988. A highly sought-after teacher, trainer and coach, Katz has lectured frequently at the business schools of MIT (Sloan), the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton), the University of Chicago, Dartmouth (Tuck), Carnegie-Mellon, Cornell, Northeastern and Harvard University.
Katz will be delivering the seminar’s opening presentation, “Voice of the Customer: The Most Misunderstood Term in All of Marketing.” During this discussion, you’ll learn how the Voice of the Customer catchphrase has become one of the most popular and widely used methodologies for capturing customer needs, both preferences and aversions, and how you can use that information to tailor your products, services and delivery methods to meet those expectations.
The 2017 SHOT Show Executive Management Seminar will take place the day before the show opens, Monday January 16, from 9:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Morning coffee and a buffet lunch will be provided. Designed as a premier educational forum for rising managerial and executive-level professionals, the seminar is open to both NSSF Members and non-members, and NSSF members receive a significant discount on their registration fee. To reserve your seat, simply log in to your dashboard at SHOTShow.org once after completing your registration to attend the show and add this seminar to your shopping cart.
